PCL Construction, in partnership with Calgary's HomeSpace Society, successfully transformed a vacant office space into affordable housing in Calgary. This project can be a model for Northern Ontario, as PCL is well-positioned and excited to take on similar projects. Their housing-first approach offers monthly rates 30-36% below market rental rates and creates homes where people can thrive. The project provides over 80 units of affordable housing to vulnerable populations, such as low-income families, seniors, adults with disabilities, Indigenous people, and newcomers to Canada.
